ANTARES 800
The Antares 800 inherits all the fundamental qualities of 8.60, chosen by the National Society for Sea Rescue for its robustness and excellent seaworthiness. The hull, designed by André Bénéteau, is inspired by that of his eldest: well defended by a large freeboard, it goes with indifference in the chop. The wide-chine hull, relatively flat on the rear, enjoys an exceptional shape stability, essential for fishing. The keel is an additional safety factor: enhanced by a soft strip of galvanized steel, it protects the propeller and the hull during the grounding and gives perfect tracking, appreciable in all manners, including by sea back. The slim and flared bow, plays with it rejects spray away on the coast. Although installed in the cockpit, the helmsman always keeps a perfect visibility. The semi-planing hull of the Antares 800 allows it to reach high speeds with a diesel engine power reasonable economic use, and maintain that speed in rough seas ... significant benefit to make long crossings or travel quickly at the scene of the fishery. The mechanical construction, sound insulation designed with meticulous care to meet all safety requirements. Elegant, fast and safe, Antares 800 is a flagship of the range Antares.
The Antares 800 is a remarkable success in terms of facilities. A large sliding door opens onto the large deck saloon. First, a warm sense of comfort radiates from this procedure: panoramic windscreen, sliding side windows, the light radiates in all directions. Installed around the saloon table, the crew took a general view on the outside. The cockpit to port, has an elegant trimmed wheel and a folding seat for further increasing the available space. By evening, the lounge transforms into a spacious cabin: the table between the seats easily lowered to form a double berth and the curtains come close windows, ensuring complete privacy. As on the larger units, a central corridor serves the rest of amenities. At left, the kitchen unit ventilated by a window opening, includes a work plan incorporating a deep sink and a cooktop double fire, a dresser, closet and a cooler. On the right the bathroom with marine toilet, shower, water pressure, complete the chapter of comfort: a window opening ensures aeration. The front cabin, completely independent, has a large double bed. The practical aspect was not overlooked the many chests, cupboards, lockers, wardrobe, easy access, are generously sized. Like other Antares, its finish is luxurious, it is entirely paneled in subtle harmony with fabric linings and cushions. Everywhere, the headroom can move his head high.
Luxury accommodations does not his vocation fishing offshore. In the deep cockpit, uncluttered, several people can fish without ceremony, even the "all big". On the back benches are removable to allow to come to wedge against the table. A large bunker can accommodate a large equipment. On deck to the cockpit surrounded by a rigid stainless steel balconies, handrails and carefully distributed anchor well off the features of the Antares 800. Crafted with isophthalic gelcoat selected for its exceptional resistance to water penetration, Beneteau each hull is constructed of polyester laminate with very high density glass boiling in hand with the utmost care. The resins were previously tested for 1000 hours at 60 degrees before being used for the construction of Beneteau, pledge of strength and longevity of the hulls. |
